We started in Birmingham in 2009, fabricating aluminium frontages for local independent traders out of a single industrial unit. Fifteen years on, we're now based at Hems Crescent in Great Barr — the workshop has grown, but the ethos hasn't changed: every store front still gets built by people who care how it turns out.
Today we cover the whole country with directly-employed fitters and a FENSA-registered install team. If something goes wrong, you call us — not a subcontractor.

Your store front is manufactured in our Great Barr workshop to British standards. Typically 2–3 weeks.
Fitted by our own directly-employed team. Most installs complete in a single day with minimal disruption.
Our fitters cover every major UK city. Travel is always included — you'll never see a mileage charge on your quote.
We've recently launched store-fronts.uk as a dedicated brand for our commercial frontage division. We're currently consolidating customer reviews — if you've worked with us, we'd be hugely grateful for an honest review on our Google Business Profile. Genuine feedback only — good, average or critical.
Verified reviews will be displayed here as they come in. We don't write our own reviews and we don't filter the negative ones.
For a typical single-unit retail frontage, aluminium store fronts start from around £2,800 + VAT supplied and fitted. Glass and timber options sit higher. Every quote is fixed — we don't pad hours or tack on surprises at the end. A free survey gives you an exact figure within 72 hours.
Most like-for-like replacements don't need permission, but listed buildings, conservation areas and any signage changes usually do. We'll tell you straight after the survey whether yours needs an application, and we can liaise with the council on your behalf.
From order to finished install is typically 3–4 weeks — most of that time is fabrication in the workshop. The actual fit on site usually takes 1 day for standard widths and 2 days for larger or more complex frontages. We can work evenings or overnight if you need to stay trading.
We work with structural aluminium profiles (Comar and Smart Systems), toughened and laminated safety glass, marine-grade stainless steel, powder-coated steel for shutters, and kiln-dried hardwood for heritage fronts. Everything's British-standard certified.
Yes. We have a 24-hour board-up and repair service covering the West Midlands and surrounding counties, with a nationwide daytime repair service. Break-ins, storm damage, shutter failure — call the main number and we'll triage straight away.
All our workmanship is covered for 10 years. Materials come with the manufacturer's warranty — typically 15 years on aluminium profile and 5 years on glass. Shutters and automatic door motors carry their own 2-year warranties.
